Biography
Hello,
I am Silvia, an artist whose soul is deeply woven with a passion for creativity.
Painting is my primary means of expression, but my artistic journey has led me to explore a wide range of mediums, from illustration to custom doll making and beyond. My thirst for exploration knows no bounds, and I believe that in art, there should be no predetermined end to my fantasies.
Born in the picturesque setting of Siracusa in 1975, I entered the world of art at a young age, thanks to the inspiration and guidance of my father. This early exposure to the world of creativity ignited a passion that shaped my destiny.
My educational journey began at the Institute of Art in Siracusa, where I diligently nurtured my artistic dreams. I earned a master's diploma in art and, later, a diploma specialized in painting. My thirst for knowledge and my desire for artistic growth led me to the Accademia of Fine Arts in Catania, where I continued to refine my skills and develop my unique artistic style.
During these formative years, I gave life to my distinctive oil paintings, characterized by the presence of female figures. These creations found their place in art exhibitions, and I had the honor of being featured in the pages of the prestigious contemporary art magazine "Arte," published by Mondadori.
As an artist, I have always desired to explore new horizons. I ventured into fields such as web graphic design and photography, and I also dedicated my talent to customizing collectible dolls like Blythe and Pullip. Furthermore, I experimented with theatrical scenography in collaboration with my father.
In 2014, I took a bold step by founding an international group of artists, along with the eponymous magazine "World ap-Art," creating a space for young artists to share their visions with the world. The magazine published a total of 10 issues, and I also produced a booklet of poems and illustrations dedicated to the theme of nature and the respect we owe to it, a topic dear to my heart.
Today, Milan is my home, and I have expanded my role to become an art teacher, sharing my knowledge and passion with the next generation of artists.
Starting in 2023, I further expanded my artistic practice by embracing the creation of NFTs (non-fungible tokens), opening new doors in the realm of digital art and blockchain. This new direction added an exciting chapter to my ever-evolving artistic career. My art is not merely what I do; it is who I am, and it is a privilege to share my creative world with others.
